I think worrying about the distinctions between the future tenses is a little exaggerated, but they do work a little differently:
It’s planned and arranged for Monday? I’m doing it on Monday.
I might do it on Monday? I will probably do it on Monday.
I have a jour fixe? I do it on Monday. Every Monday.
And it’s a promise to you? I’ll do it – I’ll podcast – on Monday!
And I want to do it, and nobody’s going to stop me? I’m going to put my feet up when I come back 🙂
PS: How do you say, “Ich will am Montag ins Kino“? Tip: Don’t use “will”!
