If it’s in your diary, use the present continuous.
As for the translation question:
Ich will ins Kino:
I want to to to the movies.
I'm planning to go and see a film.
I'd like to go to the cinema.
Followed by extending an invitation:
Would you like to join me?
Will you join me?
Do you want to come along?

I think worrying about the distinctions between the future tenses is a little exaggerated, but they do work a little differently:

It's planned and arranged for Monday? I'm doing it on Monday.
I might do it on Monday? I will probably do it on Monday.
I have a jour fixe? I do it on Monday. Every Monday.

And it's a promise to you? I'll do it - I'll podcast - on Monday!
And I want to do it, and nobody's going to stop me? I'm going to put my feet up when I come back :)

PS: How do you say, "Ich will am Montag ins Kino"? Tip: Don't use "will"!
