Freu, Freu! Frau Bhuti is hosting this year’s Secret Santa blogs. Blogwichteln is guest-blogging on someone else’s blog secretly and them never figuring out who you are! So much fun. Last year the most charming blogger you could ever wish for gave me a delightful entry. Herr Hollemann was running the show, but he’s moved on. Still, the community wants to blogwichtel again, so Frau Bhuti has come to the rescue. Dankeschön!

The rules:

  • Register by 27 Nov. on her site, bhuti.wordpress.com or by email: blog[ät]bhuti[punkt]de
  • Soon after she’ll be sending you the address of the blog to write for
  • Man sollte Deutsch schreiben können, sonst fällt es halt doch sehr auf!!
  • Your blog contribution must be handed in to Frau Bhuti by 11 Dec.
  • All contributions are published on 15 Dec.

Na, wer macht mit? Dolcevita, Du?

  1. Dear Chris,

Well, the gift is supposed to suit the blogger’s taste, so you clearly need to be able to read the blog you are assigned to and understand what the blogger is into. These blogs are in German. I was actually quite lucky to get such a sweet contribution last year from someone who met me half-way, using Germlish. The person I wrote for last year might have been able to read English, but I would have given myself away!
I love the way you write, and I think any secret post you wrote would be a great gift … I don’t know what to say.

Hey, shall we have one for English blogs, too??

    Anne

  2. Thanks Anne, you said what needed to be said, i checked the link…… i need to improve my German ( and my Spanish, italian , Greek, Hindi etc etc come to that).

  3. ^^
Hmm, yes. But that’s the risk of keeping a bilingual blog, my reflections on living a bilingual life, on being here, there and everywhere.
