Relaunching

It’s the end of summer, we’re back home from long days in the sun and on the water, and it’s back to classes and many weeks full of interesting new challenges. The perfect  time to relaunch this website.

Thank you to Gavin Dudeney for jumping in when the website crashed back in February. He built all of the basics a website needs onto my old blog, and then came in for the final dash to get it all done.

Thank you to Amy Manning for her designs, including the lovely berries – or are they flowers? – that grace these pages. She’s got some social media designs in the pipeline for me to share in the coming months.

Thank you to Maria Einhorn for taking a critical look at first ideas and saying to me, point blank, that I shouldn’t use subtle colors, because I wasn’t exactly a subtle person – and she said that was a good thing. Right, ok! So I’m embracing my inner fierce and going for strong and clear and straight.

Thank you to my husband Helmut for taking many of the photos. A year ago he sold his beloved Nikon, so now he borrowed Inga’s camera and came up with these images, which have been empowering.

Thank you to the wonderful unnamed participants who were kind enough to share their faces in these pictures.

And now I plan to use this website more productively. More than just marketing my services, I plan to reflect on the professional issues I’ve explored over the past five or six years and the ways in which I now see language tranining, communication skills coaching, and individual coaching and team development going hand in hand.

Dear reader, I hope you will join me in these reflections. And now here’s wishing this new website a healthy, happy, and long life.

  1. Wonderful, there’s something in the air, isn’t there – the old guard with new experiences to share!
