Anne Enright has the most amazing view of the world. Down-to-earth. Physical. Womanly. Just read her short article My Milk. I’m very excited about this particular reading, because Katharina Thalbach is going to be there, an actress I simply adore.   1. We were a little disappointed with the event. Too much academic discussion for my taste, not enough reading in English. Anna Thalbach was great, though.
    Anne Enright said, “I like the sneaky senses – touch and smell – not the overt, deliberate ones.” I think that’s why I though her book would be sensuous. But it’s not. Not at all.
