This smooth motivational soul song by Des’ree from 1994 became a hit three times in the 90s and was later used to advertise the Ford Focus and an Australian bank. Now, Des’ree is not known for deep, intelligent lyrics 😉 and, in fact, she won a BBC contest for the worst song lyrics of all time for her hit “Life”, which rhymed “ghost” with “toast”.
